Even if you don’t know her name, you’ve likely seen April Scott somewhere in your daily life. Not only is she an up and coming country singer/songwriter, she has also had a good start to her career as an actress with guest roles in shows like The Shield and CSI: Miami and starring roles in The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning. Additionally, she is Merle Norman Cosmetics lead model and can be seen in every advertisement by the company.

April Scott was born April McIntosh and raised in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Here she attended Campbell High School and graduated in 1997. Through her years in high school she was a frequent participant in beauty pageants in the area and won her fair share of them. After high school, April went on to college at College of the Ozarks and earned a degree in theater and rhetoric.

Not long after she graduated from College of the Ozarks, she made the move out to Los Angeles to start her acting career. Her first-ever role was on The Shield in 2003. Since then she has gone on to guest star in several television series as well as many different movies. Most recently, she has starred in Living Will and Penthouse.

With her acting and modeling career under control and growing at reasonable rates, Scott has decided to take on the music world by recording a country record. Her skills here are yet to be proven, but if they are anything like the rest of her talents, she’s sure to be sensation in no time.
